Returns & Refunds Policy
Returns & Refunds Policy
At Kingston Road Bathrooms, we want you to choose your bathroom furnishings with complete confidence. We operate in strict compliance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (CCR 2013) and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA 2015).
Core Return Guarantee Highlights
- Return Window: 28 calendar days from the date of physical delivery.
- Return Shipping Cost: £0.00 (Free Return via pre-printed return label included in your box).
- Restocking / Admin Fees: £0.00 (Zero deductions).
- Total Refund Processing Time: Exactly within 3 business days of return delivery.
1. Your Right to Cancel & Reasonable Inspection (CCR 2013)
You are legally entitled to cancel your purchase within our 28-day return window, beginning on the date you receive delivery of your furniture.
In accordance with UK distance selling legislation, you have the right to open outer packaging and inspect the finish, dimensions, mirror glass clarity, and aesthetic suitability of the bathroom furniture, exactly as you would examine display models in a physical bathroom showroom.
Condition Requirements: To receive a 100% full refund, the item must be returned in brand-new, resaleable condition with all protective film, wall mounting brackets, screws, and original foam corner protectors enclosed. In accordance with Regulation 34(9) of the CCR 2013, if an item demonstrates diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and characteristics (e.g. cabinets drilled or screwed into tiled walls, wired into mains electrical circuits, plumbing silicone applied to ceramic basins, or scratched mirror glass), a proportionate deduction reflecting diminished value will apply.
2. Prepaid Hassle-Free Return Procedure (By Mail)
All returns are conducted strictly by mail. To ensure zero out-of-pocket costs:
- Pack Safely: Repack the unused item into its original manufacturer carton, ensuring that edge protectors and foam inserts are securely placed to protect mirror glass and cabinet corners in transit.
- Affix Pre-Printed Return Label: Locate the pre-printed prepaid Royal Mail / Tracked Return Label enclosed inside your original delivery package and stick it firmly over the original dispatch label. (If misplaced, email support@kingstonroadbathrooms.co.uk and we will provide an electronic PDF replacement within 24 hours).
- Drop-Off at Carrier Point: Drop the parcel off at your local Post Office branch or designated courier depot. Retain your proof of postage receipt.
3. Quality Inspection & 3-Day Total Refund Processing
Upon safe receipt at our logistics depot, our technicians verify unit condition (ensuring glass is intact, hinges undamaged, and accessories complete).
Refund Speed Commitment: We commit to completing inspection and issuing your total refund within 3 business days of return delivery. All refunds are issued directly to the original Visa or Mastercard used at checkout. Depending on your card issuing bank, the credited funds will typically appear on your statement within 1 to 3 banking days following dispatch of our refund notification email.
4. Faulty or Damaged Goods (CRA 2015)
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods supplied must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. In the improbable event of an electrical failure in an LED mirror or a manufacturing fault in a vanity cabinet, you hold a 30-day statutory right to reject for an immediate replacement or full refund.
